With the help of my father, who was born in the Dominican
Republic, I fell in love with DJ-ing about 15 years ago. He owned a great deal of DJ
equipment. He is also very helpful and supportive of my hobby and love for music.
The best thing I enjoy about being a Deejay is meeting new people from all over the world. From currently playing at Jimmy’s Bronx Cafe, I enjoy the immediate gratification from the crowd by playing the latest Latin hits along with current R & B and Hip-Hop music. Born in Harlem, raised in the Bronx, with visits to my mom’s family in Puerto Rico, as a Deejay, "It doesn’t matter where you’re from but where you’re at!". As a good DJ, you have to know how to play for the crowd. No matter what city you’re in. My favorite radio stations to listen to are La Mega, HOT97, WKTU, WBLS, Z100 and Jammin’ 105. Listening to these stations help me to keep up with the current hits and what people are listening and dancing to. Five years from now .... I see myself finished with my computer training. In my own production studio, re-mixing and producing future hits. Peace! |
